The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has a grand cabin with adjustable bucket seats, extended rear doors, heated armrests, multiple airbags, a head-up display, and augmented reality navigation. The rear-axle steering of the limousine makes it quite manoeuvrable in urban traffic and becomes a comfortable choice no matter how bad the traffic gets. 7.

Measuring almost 5.5m in length, the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is 180mm longer than the standard S-Class. Swanky limo brimming with luxuriesThe new luxurious additions are mainly focused at the rear of the Maybach S-Class.

When fully kitted out - and fitted with the Seat Comfort and Chauffeur packages - this cabin features a calf-massaging system, neck and shoulder heating, adaptive lighting, refrigeration compartment with silver-plated champagne flutes, automatic seat belt extenders, and the MBUX Interior Assistant. Open-pore, organic woodwork with pinstripes runs along the breadth of the dashboard, rear centre console and the front seat backs. The aim is to ensure optimum NVH, and to that end, the Maybach S-Class gets plenty of insulation throughout its body, along with thicker laminated glass, and noise-reduced tyres with foam absorbers. The limousine comes with individual "Executive" rear seats that can be reclined by as much as 43.5 degrees, and the backrest of the front passenger seat can be tilted forward by as much as 23 degrees to make more room for the rear seat passenger. At 5,469mm, it's a substantial 180mm longer than the long-wheelbase version of the new S-class, and all of those 180mm have gone into the new Maybach's wheelbase, which is 3,396mm long - 31mm longer than even the outgoing Maybach S-class. The Maybach logo on the rear pillar is now illuminated which will certainly help set it apart from other S-Class models on the road.

But none of that holds a candle to the Maybach's coolest party trick - the fact that you can shut the rear doors with a hand gesture.

There's also the optional active ambient lighting system, which has two more LEDs than the regular S-Class at 253 LEDs, along with two more colour themes (rose gold white and amethyst glow). It comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Beneath the daily-buffed bodywor, over an extended wheelbase extended by seven inches, sits the same running gear as the top-spec S-Class, mating a four-liter biturbo V-8 to a 48-volt hybrid system with EQ Boost. The new-generation S-Class is also slated to arrive next year in the country with prices expected to start from 1.5 crores onwards. This includes Merc's patented "Pre-Safe Impulse" side function. Incredible acoustic comfortThe 2015 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class went on to become the world's quietest saloon auto and the 2021 version takes the acoustic comfort to a whole new level.

The new 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S580 in the market will compete against the Bentley Flying Spur V8. The automobile may even get the rear airbag that was launched on the brand new S-Class as effectively. We tell you why this chauffeur-driven choice might just be a flawless match for you. 1.
