Biden to unveil cabinet picks and states to certify his win

In Michigan, a state panel is scheduled this afternoon to vote whether to certify the state's election results, which unofficially show Biden won there by more than 156,000 votes.

But the Michigan Department of State said delays and audits were not permitted by law.

On Saturday, she posted on Twitter that there had been "no evidence" to draw into question the result of the election.

Mr Biden's team has not confirmed which cabinet posts are going to be announced on Tuesday.

Other Democrats have been unsparing in their criticism.

"It is the absolute responsibility of the outgoing team" to provide such information, she said.
