On Saturday, Matthew Brann, a Republican federal judge nominated by former President Barack Obama, dismissed a similar effort in Pennsylvania, writing that the case amounted to "strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations".

"For United States of America, dis no fit justify deprive a single voter, let alone all di voters of di sixth most populated state", na wetin di judge write.

In his scathing and lengthy opinion, Brann said the Trump campaign asked him to "disenfranchise nearly 7 million voters", and that he could not find any case in which a plaintiff "has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election". "This Court has been unable to find any case in which a plaintiff has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election, in terms of the sheer volume of votes asked to be invalidated", Brann wrote Saturday.

In what has become a rather baffling display to both US-based and global onlookers, the Trump campaign is still relentlessly attempting to overturn the USA election result.

While Biden has claimed victory, Trump launched a slew of litigations challenging the results in states that, in addition to Pennsylvania, also include Michigan, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona.

Election officials across the country say there is no evidence of significant voting fraud, and Mr Trump's own administration has called the election the "most secure in American history:".

He also cited MI, where, he said, "lawmakers rejected the apparent attempt by President Trump to thwart the will of MI voters and select an illegitimate slate of electoral college electors".

Trump has refused to accept defeat in the 2020 election, despite Biden's decisive win in the Electoral College and the popular vote.

Yankees-Red Sox Series Heats up AL East Race
The New York Yankees won the series, winning 8-1, losing 11-0, and winning 11-1 to make up some ground on their rivals. Despite sitting on top for much of the season, the Boston Red Sox are expected to lose steam as the season progresses.

"No one has come up with any evidence of fraud or abuse" he said.

Other Republican lawmakers, like Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-Va.), have been more explicit, saying the Trump legal team's losses in the courts prove their allegations are false.

Judge Matthew Brann threw out the lawsuit and said it was an attempt to disenfranchise 7 million people without providing any good reason to do so.

Republican Senator Pat Toomey said the ruling closed off any chance for a legal victory in Pennsylvania and called on Trump to concede the election.

"These developments, together with the outcomes in the rest of the nation, confirm that Joe Biden won the 2020 election and will become the 46th President of the United States".

"We are attuned to what Joe Biden said of Donald Trump showing "incredible iresponsability".

Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani said in a statement he was disappointed with the ruling and will appeal.
