Olivier Giroud is willing to consider joining another Premier League club, but favours a move overseas as the forward seeks to leave Chelsea in search of first-team football.

"After eight or nine games, it would be easy to get excited about being in a lofty position but I'm not going to smile too much", Lampard told Chelsea's website.

However, Pulisic will now be available for the match with the Premier League leaders at the weekend, though Lampard was determined not to look that far ahead when speaking to reporters on Monday.

"We're in a decent position but doing that consistently over a big period is the next step for us now".

"When he doesn't play he is an incredible support for the other players". He is training brilliantly; he is enthusiastic which is when Tammy is at his best.

"This January, we'll cross that bridge when it comes but my first thought always has to be the strength of our squad".

"I just mentioned the schedule in December there and I will be relying on top players and [Abraham & Giroud], as I see it, are top strikers for us. I need a change, I will need to make a decision".

Lampard was keen to let the player know that the lines of direct communication remain open to him.
