Google Phone app will reportedly be rebranded, include colorful new icon

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is in full swing on Disney Plus, and now Google is letting you bring its hero home. Still, if you're a fan of the show and suitably equipped, you can download the app now on Google Play. "Explore the world of The Mandalorian, interact with characters in augmented reality and capture your very own scenes to share with friends". The company recently released a number of features for this app. There will only be 5 content drops during this time period.

If Google Call is, in fact, a rebranding of the Phone app, it would fit right in with these apps.

As shared by a Reddit person DominusLux, Google was seen working a Google Phone advert on YouTube that confirmed the app beneath a brand new identify and branding. In this upcoming mobile app, the consumer will get the facility to stop caller-id and spam calls.

Over the last few months, the Google Phone app has been made available to non-Pixel devices, and we've also seen testing for a new Caller ID announcement feature. The Phone app also added a "Saved voicemails" shortcut in the voicemail tab along with other minor features. It's also got Google smarts built-in, which helps to not only make your network more secure than some other systems, but it also means it's easy to control Wi-Fi access to devices throughout your home, all by just asking Google to turn off Wi-Fi to any device on your network. These are not typically considered ads, because they give both companies the opportunity to showcase their services or technologies.

The Mandalorian AR Experience is limited to 5G-capable Android devices. Apparently, Google was a bit hasty to run the YouTube ad in question.
