John Legend and Chrissy Teigen detail 'utter grief' of losing son

The model and TV personality, who was five months pregnant when she lost the couple's son, cut off her social media updates immediately after the heartbreak, and both she and the singer legend spoke less publicly about the tragedy.

John Legend thanked his wife Chrissy for showing exemplary courage during the pregnancy and after the miscarriage. "Obviously it's so painful to go through something like this as a woman - something that was inside your body, you're nurturing and taking care of".

Chrissy then added she's been able to stay strong because of her and John's other children - Luna, four, and Miles, two - as she knows they will "get through this together" as a family.

Teigen said she has "thousands of letters" that were sent to her after the loss. I understand it can be that way for people.
