Typically, when there's a longer launch window, SpaceX will aim to launch at the beginning, depending on weather conditions.

SpaceX Is launching Falcon 9 today from Kennedy Space Center, with a launch window that lasts for three hours and opens at 9 am EST (6 pm PST).

After Thursday, December 17th's SpaceX launch of a spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office was canceled due to high pressure in the rocket's upper stage liquid oxygen tank, excited SpaceX fans can catch the live stream of the satellite being launched tomorrow morning on Friday, December 18. An exact liftoff time within that three-hour window has not yet been released. "The main concern about Thursday's weather is takeoff winds and the thick cloud bed base associated with any remaining foreground clouds".

After takeoff, the Falcon 9's 162-foot first-stage booster will detach from Stage 2, and then begin descending again toward Florida.

SpaceX will endeavor an arrival back at its arrival cushion at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, a more extraordinary event versus its utilization of its two robot landing ships situated out in the sea.
