Coronavirus In Illinois: State passes 900,000 Cases, Adds 79 Additional Deaths

Three more people have died of COVID-19 in Marshall County, according to Sunday's report from the Indiana Department of Health.

Chautauqua County residents will be soon able to receive a rapid COVID-19 test thanks to the health department's acquisition of Abbott ID Now testing machines.

Through today, 326 have died from COVID-19 related illness in the county. They were among 95 resident deaths recorded statewide on Sunday.

Manatee County's cumulative case count is now at 20,171, which represents about 1.7% of Florida's 1,201,566 confirmed cases to date.

Franklin and Williamson Counties reported 83 new cases on Sunday.

Cases increased from 1,193,165 to 1,201,566. In all, 18,885 COVID-19 test results have returned from Union County, including 16,844 negatives, indicating an overall local positivity rate of 10.8%.

The state now has had 129,993 confirmed cases, with 54,357 designated recoveries.

Among those who've tested positive for the coronavirus, 1,031 are younger than 19, 1,481 are in their 20s, 916 are in their 30s, 912 are in their 40s, 814 are in their 50s, 535 are in their 60s, 294 are in their 70s and 270 are 80 or older. Data wasn't available on the number of U.S. residents considered recovered from the virus or the number of active cases in the U.S. By Sunday afternoon, 317,408 deaths attributable to the virus had been reported in the U.S., indicating a national COVID mortality rate of 1.8%.

At Prarie Crossing Living & Rehabilitation Center, 409 W. Comanche Ave., 32 staff members and 53 residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Johns Hopkins reported 76,699,314 COVID-19 cases worldwide Sunday afternoon.
