The iPhone 13 might finally make the notch thinner

The iPhone 13 series is anticipated to feature OLED displays with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) backplane technology.

The iPhone 13 lineup may mirror the iPhone 12 family of phones, with a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Apple introduced the second generation iPhone SE smartphone and new AirPods Pro headphones in April past year. Rather than individual lenses protruding, the camera hump will be thicker and flat because it's covered in sapphire glass.

The same report also reveals that on the iPhone 13 Apple will reduce the size of the notch. Whether or not this is something Apple is looking into still remains to be seen, but the upcoming unveiling is likely to include a new small model too, so there's a chance the Cupertino giant would end up launching more than just one new iPhone SE this coming April.

iPhone 13 will will still have a screen notch but it'll be a bit thinner, according to information leaking out of Apple's Asian supply chain. This will be made possible with the help of the TrueDepth camera moving to the edge of the case. We briefly outline what Apple can serve us in the first half of the year.
