GOT7 is trending number 1 on Twitter after South Korea's popular news website Dispatch reported that all seven members of the Kpop group GOT7 have chose to end their contract with JYP Entertainment.

"After multiple discussions with (JYP Entertainment), they made a decision to part ways", said the source, based on translations by Soompi.

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment said they will release a full statement once the status of GOT7's contract renewal is confirmed. "We deliver our gratitude to fans who have cheered along the journey of GOT7's growth". Though so far there is a trend of one agency managing one Kpop group, GOT7 might be an exception and continue to remain and perform as a group despite each member being managed by different agency.

Following Dispatch's report, JYP Entertainment issued a statement about GOT7's contract renewal on January 11.

The official statement from JYP Entertainment came a few days after it was reported that Jin Young, Yugyeom and Youngjae would be signing with new labels. The seven members were thoroughly seen enjoying themselves on stage and ensured that they leave no stone unturned.
