The device will tether to a laptop or mobile workstation and enable users to position multiple, large virtual monitors in their field of view and use Windows software tools and applications. Lenovo calls it the most advanced and versatile pair of business smart glasses. Companies can modify it with Lenovo's industrial frame options, though, to make it more durable or safer. Since it's intended for big business use, Lenovo didn't deliver a shopper value point, yet it declared that the A3 will be accessible in select business sectors overall beginning mid-2021. It can show up to five virtual 1080p displays and has an 8-megapixel camera that can provide 1080p video, as well as dual fish-eye cameras for room-scale tracking. According to Lenovo, its virtual monitors are optimized and compatible with its own ThinkPad lineups and support both Intel and AMD Ryzen processors. Industrial Edition for Enhanced Decision Making in Complex Environments The ThinkReality A3 Industrial Edition tethers to select Motorola smartphones for hands-free, AR-supported tasks in complex work environments. Sources claimed that the Industrial Edition is based on Lenovo's ThinkReality software platform, which allows commercial users to develop, install, and managed mixed reality applications as well as content on a global scale.

For use in factory, laboratory, busy retail and hospitality displays, Tingriality Platform certified ready-made applications offer remote assistance, target workflow and 3D visualization. Ahead of tomorrow's CES kick off, the hardware company announced the impending arrival of the ThinkReality A3, a pair of enterprise AR glasses that look to follow the lead set by companies like Epson and Microsoft.
