The all-digital Consumer Electronics Show for 2021 is nearing its conclusion now, but before that happens, Asus has revealed three new monitors fitted with HDMI 2.1 capabilities, ideal for what the new-gen consoles bring to the table.

Announced this week, Asus' "Republic of Gamers" brand more commonly known as "ROG" has a few things in the works, with laptop variations aplenty, focused on people who yearn to game in more places, and not just those using its phones. The laptop can be configured with up to a Ryzen 9 5980HS CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, with up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. Its runs on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900 HX mobile processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.

All the ROG series laptops have been given some common upgrade with the latest 100W Type- C charging, new 360Hz 1080p panel, and a massive 90Whr battery.

A little bit different again is the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, a 15 inch computer with two screens, though not in the way you might expect.

The all-new ROG Swift PG32UQ gaming monitor flaunts a 32-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K), 138 PPI, and 1ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time. Productivity-focused workloads can be done on the 4K main display. Asus ROG Flow X13 sports two down-firing speakers and Dolby Atmos technology for audio. The gaming display also has a micro-HDMI port which can help you to connect with your PC to make it a second monitor.

Let's start with the most interesting device, the ROG Strix Scar 17. The XG mobile uses a proprietary connector with a USB-C connector.

Thanks to HDMI 2.1, it also supports 120Hz at 4K with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate).

Other pleasing connectivity specs are the dedicated USB 3.2 Gen 2 link, which feeds an I/O hub with extra connectivity, and an integrated 280W AC adapter, which powers both XG Mobile dock and Flow X13.

The Asus ROG XG is a mobile external GPU designed around the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. So it is a 16:10 format 13 inch screen and Pantone certified ultra-portable laptop.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15 will be available in the first quarter of 2021. Finally, ROG XG Mobile integrates the new generation Nvidia GPU GeForce RTX3XX from Nvidia. The notebook can be powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 5900HS processor paired with an RTX 3080 GPU. With up to 16GB of G6 memory, it powers the world's fastest laptops for gamers and creators.
