Fans of the Netflix film series To All the Boys I've Loved Before were in for a delightful surprise on January 13 when the trailer for the third movie, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, was released.

The preview ends with Lara Jean not getting into Stanford, so it appears viewers have to wait until the film's release date on February 12 to learn the couple's fate.

The trailer leaves things up in the air of course, so we would need to watch the film to see how things play out, and the outcome of their relationship.

But will they manage to stay together?

Lara and Peter both apply for Stanford University in California.

The hugely popular To All The Boys series of teen romantic comedies comes to an end with the soon to be released To All The Boys: Always And Forever.

Apart from Noah and Lara, the star cast will have gems like Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Ross Butler, Madeleine Arthur, Sarayu Blue and John Corbett.

The trailer opens with Lara Jean face timing her boyfriend Peter from Korea. Plus, it sounds like she's not entirely sure that she wants to go to Stanford.

But the teen's happy bubble - which includes a field trip to NY - is burst suddenly when she starts musing about a future in the Big Apple and has to tell Peter she "didn't get in", though whether that's to Stanford, the viewer doesn't know. How will their relationship survive?
