An even bigger jackpot is up for grabs with Mega Millions. The Multiplier number was 03.

The last time someone won a drawing of this size was March 27, 2019, when 24-year-old Manuel Franco won a $768.4 million Powerball jackpot after purchasing the ticket in Wisconsin at a Speedway station in a Milwaukee suburb.

More than a dozen players won at least $1 million, but there was no victor of the $640 million Powerball jackpot for the drawing held on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Saturday's pot was $640 million for the $2 game.

The US Department of Justice is also deeply disappointed by Mexico's decision to secretly release information shared with Mexico. After diplomatic pressure from Mexico, US authorities dropped the charges and sent Cienfuegos home for possible prosecution.

The top prize hasn't been claimed since September 16, when someone who bought a ticket in Ballston Spa, New York, captured the $94.6 million jackpot.

To win the jackpot, players must pick 5 winning numbers out of 70 in total and also match the Mega Ball number which is 1 out of 25.

Those tickets were sold at the Food Mart 4 U located at 235 Patterson Ave.in Wallington, Bergen County; and at the 7-Eleven located at 85 Sparta Ave.in Sparta, in Sussex County. It is the longest jackpot run in both Powerball and Mega Millions histories, a release stated. The odds of that happening are 1 in 302.6 million, but there are plenty more prizes besides the jackpot for lucky players.

Without a jackpot victor, the next Mega Millions drawing is even larger. The overall chances of winning any prize are 1 in 24. Winners almost always choose cash prizes, which for Powerball would be $478.7 million. No one has won either game's top prize in months. However, this would reduce the jackpot from $850 million to $628.2 million.
