Aussie Streamer Stan Announces 'RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under': Watch RuPaul's Announcement

The British and American versions of RuPaul's Drag Race are available to stream on Stan in Australia.

Production is expected to begin this week in New Zealand, with the series premiering later this year.

The Stan Original Series RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under will premiere later in 2021, but if you simply can't wait that long, you can check out all 13 seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race as well as their spin-off seasons on Stan.

As reported by The Guardian, RuPaul himself will serve as the show's host and will also be part of the judging panel with longtime co-star Michelle Visage.

"I can not wait for everyone to see that Down Under queens have some of the biggest charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talents in the world. Thank you to Stan & TVNZ OnDemand for providing a platform for these outrageous drag artists to share their heart, soul & humor".

Fans already know the format - so expect to see fashion challenges, workroom dramas and lip sync battles aplenty.

The BBC reports a crowd of demonstrators that had gathered in the capital Tunis on Monday hurled stones and explosives at police. He confirmed the legitimacy of any social movement or peaceful protest, guaranteed by the country's constitution.

According to Stan, the show's contestants, as well as its third judge and celebrity guest judges will be announced later this year.

The announcement comes on the heels of several other worldwide spin-offs expanding World of Wonder's Drag Race global empire, including Canada's Drag Race (which was recently renewed for season 2), RuPaul's Drag Race UK (currently airing its second season), Drag Race Holland (which finished its first season last year), South America's The Switch Drag Race, Drag Race Thailand, and the upcoming Drag Race Spain.
