Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram was notably a healthy scratch for the team's eventual loss at the hands of the surging Buffalo Bills this past weekend, with the AFC North franchise going with the tandem of rookie J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards in the backfield.

Ingram has been a very underrated player in his career, especially after getting off to kind of a bad start in his first year in New Orleans.

Ingram returned to the field as Baltimore's starting running back and ran for 28 yards on six carries in a 34-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on December 8.

Ingram, who was officially released by the Ravens on Tuesday, was a leader and mentor in addition to becoming the best hype man Lamar Jackson could've ever hoped for.

Although he will be released, Ingram can still prove to be an effective player and will have plenty to offer in the 2021 season.

The Baltimore Ravens have been making some moves after being eliminated from the playoffs. "Mark is a talented victor who brought passion, toughness, leadership and chemistry to the Ravens". The veteran was in many ways the heartbeat of the Ravens the past two years, and he will be greatly missed in the locker room.

ViacomCBS' Paramount+ charts March 4 entry into streaming
Yet another streaming service is on the way to Australia, and it might see the Star Trek series booted from Netflix and Amazon. Where will Paramount+ be available? Paramount+ is set to go live in the United States and Latin America on March 4 .

I wonder if a team in the Super Bowl push will make an attempt to sign the veteran running back? But Thomas was dishonorably jettisoned after one year and Ingram will always be warmly welcomed at the Ravens facility.

Ingram was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2011 by New Orleans and is a three time Pro Bowler.

Ingram, 31, is coming off of his worst statistical season.

Ingram's leadership really shined when he was removed from the spotlight.

Ingram received Pro Bowl invitations in 2014, 2017 and 2019.
