Joe Exotic has limo waiting as he expects pardon from Donald Trump

Joe is now serving a 22-year sentence behind bars after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against rival Carole Baskin but Love is convinced Joe will be freed.

Exotic's team walked back on the six-page complaint, which accused the acting pardon attorney of not forwarding on the formal request to Trump himself, after it emerged it did, in fact, land on his desk.

Love told the outlet they "anticipate notification" of Exotic's pardon between 10am and 2pm today, and "have the limousine fuelled up and driver standing by", adding "we are ready for the party".

Dwayne Carter Jr, who performs as Lil Wayne, pleaded guilty a year ago to illegal possession of a firearm.

Two sources familiar with the discussions, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Trump appeared to have been dissuaded from pardoning himself or members of his family. He was set to be sentenced this month, and faced up to 10 years in prison.

Donald Trump Jr joked previous year that he would ask his father to pardon Exotic.

Weezy came out as an unlikely supporter of Trump a year ago before the November elections. But others, including the president's friends, donors, and celebrities were also expected to be pardoned.
