Redmi K40 has Snapdragon 870, K40 Pro gets Snapdragon 888

We doubt that the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro will arrive as such in Europe, though. Now he has given a sneak peek into the Redmi K40 battery backup.

Xiaomi is not holding back with its K series on its smartphone releases as it recently unveiled that it would release more than one variant of the Redmi K40 that features the Snapdragon 888 chipset, coming soon for release.

The predecessor RedmI K30 5G and Redmi K30 Pro 5G phones were powered by Snapdragon 765G and Snapdragon 865 chipsets, respectively. The executive did not provide any details particularly around the apps being used on the phone and whether it was kept idle for some time until last charging. The battery capacity has also been kept under wraps so far. The screenshot he shared on Monday on Weibo showed that the phone had 64 per cent battery remaining after 10.5 hours of usage. This brings a total of almost 37 hours.

Today On January 19, Redmi has announced that the new RedmiBook Pro will be released next month. The Redmi K40 smartphone has earlier been teased by Xiaomi, saying that it will launch in February and will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
