The relaunch will now feature a dedicated hub for ViacomCBS' cable properties including Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, and Comedy Central.

CBS All Access reportedly has 8 million to 9 million subscribers in the U.S., so it's nowhere near the size of Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, or even Hulu.

The service cost $9.99 without ads or $5.99 with ads and for many it was preferable to buy a latte than it was to add yet another streaming service to their monthly bills.

Yet another streaming service is on the way to Australia, and it might see the Star Trek series booted from Netflix and Amazon.

Do YOU already have CBS All Access?

CBS All Access has been around since 2015, and its most prominent original shows are associated with Star Trek, including Star Trek: Discovery and Picard. "With Paramount+, we're excited to establish one global streaming brand in the broad-pay segment that will draw on the sheer breadth and depth of the ViacomCBS portfolio to offer an extraordinary collection of content for everyone to enjoy".

ViacomCBS in November said its paid domestic streaming subscribers for CBS All Access and Showtime reached a combined 17.9 million, up 72% from the same time in the prior year.

Pricing has not yet been announced. Virtual doors open at 4:00 p.m. (ET) with early tune in encouraged prior to the start of the event.

Where will Paramount+ be available?

Paramount+ is set to go live in the United States and Latin America on March 4. In addition to offering innovative streaming services and digital video products, ViacomCBS provides powerful capabilities in production, distribution and advertising solutions for partners on five continents. The version of CBS All Access that is now available in Canada will rebrand to Paramount Plus on March 4th, with an expanded offering being made available to subscribers later in the year. ViacomCBS will reveal more about the Paramount Plus launch during an investor meeting on February 24, where it will also offer updates on its Pluto TV and Showtime streaming services. The rebranding will take impact in Canada on March 4, as properly, however the expanded content material library won't be a part of the service there till later in 2021. We will update this guide with details from that event.
