COVID-19 deaths in B.C. as curve trending downward

Elsewhere in western IL, 14 new COVID cases were reported in Pike County Wednesday.

Culver City - 10 new cases for a total of 1,779 cases and 1 new death for a total of 62 deaths.

January 21-The California Department of Public Health reported 22,403 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, well below the rolling seven-day average of 34,047. Penny Ballem, who is leading B.C.'s COVID-19 immunization rollout.

The milestone may be most alarming in light of this: after Pennsylvania reported its first COVID-19 death on March 18, it took more than eight months, until November 25, to reach 10,000.

Now there are 353 active cases in care, with one of them requiring critical care and the others are all stable.

The Adams County Health Department Wednesday reported the deaths of two more Adams County residents of COVID related illnesses, a man and woman both in their 80s.

Individuals 50 to 64 years of age and those 16 to 49 who have an underlying health condition or a disability that increases their risk of severe COVID-19 are in Phase IC along with those at risk of exposure in work sectors including water and wastewater, defense, energy, chemical and hazardous materials, communications, financial services and government operations.
