Microsoft Surface Laptop Go launched in India: Price and specs

According to Microsoft Official Press Release, Surface Laptop Go will be available in four memory variants- 4GB RAM and 64GB, 8GB RAM and 128/256GB, 16GB RAM and 256GB storage options.

Microsoft has announced the launch of Surface Laptop Go in India, months after unveiling the device in the US.

It consists of a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with up to 16GB RAM with many other features. It also features Windows 10 Home along with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and more. Also, for security, the laptop contains an optional fingerprint reader-integrated power button which supports the features of Windows Hello and One Touch sign-in. For a model with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage, you will have to shell out at least Rs 71,999.

It is available in Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum Color Variants.

For connection, Surface Laptop Go has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and has headphone, USB-C, USB-A inputs, in addition to Surface Connect connectivity, which allows you to charge accessories or connect docks to your notebook. Additionally, it has Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Device Firmware Configuration Interface (DFCI), Surface Laptop Go offers Windows Autopilot to reduce IT complexity by deploying straight to employees.

Regular customer can either pick the one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for INR 76,199 or they can go for the one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for INR 92,999. The large precision trackpad and a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel deliver an accurate and comfortable input experience.

It bears a touch-supported 12.45-inch (1536x1024 pixels) PixelSense display with a 3:2 screen ratio. The laptop is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor along with Intel UHD graphics.

The laptop comes with built-in studio mics, Omnisonic Speakers, Dolby audio and a 720p HD camera for video calls.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go will be available in India from 22nd January via authorised resellers and online partners like Reliance Digital and Amazon India. It measures 278.18 x 205.67 x 15.69 mm and weighs 1.1 kg.
