Resident Evil Village - the next mainline entry in the long-running survival horror video game series - now has a release date: May 7.

Accidentally revealed earlier on January 21, 2021 by Humble Bundle's website, Resident Evil Re:Verse will come free with Resident Evil Village. The gameplay shows us how both ranged and melee combat play into the eighth installment, with players now able to guard against enemy attacks. Additionally, there will be a demo later this spring for all platforms, but PS5 owners can get exclusive access today to the new "Maiden" demo.

Resident Evil Re:Verse is a six-player competitive multiplayer mode played from a third-person perspective, unlike the main game's first-person view. And now, with the new generation of consoles having been launched, the upcoming Resident Evil: Village is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2021. Players just have to log in to the event in February, from Feb. 2 - 15 to earn the Leon Kennedy RPD Outfit.
