Do you think Sabrina Carpenter's new song is about Olivia Rodrigo?

Olivia Rodrigo drifts in at Number 1 for a second week on the Official Irish Singles Chart with Drivers License.

For the few who haven't been tracking this objectively juicy saga: Fans speculate that Rodrigo, 17, penned her chart-topping ballad about "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" costar Joshua Bassett, who supposedly broke her heart after they supposedly dated behind the scenes of their Disney+ series.

Fans have been waiting for Olivia Rodrigo's response to Joshua Bassett and Sabrina Carpenter's rumored love triangle, and it's finally here.

Bassett was photographed having lunch with Carpenter shortly afterwards.

In Rodrigo's song, she sings about her heartbreak over a break-up and refers to a "blonde girl" who is "so much older than me", and "everything I'm insecure about".

"Maybe you didn't mean it/ Maybe blonde was the only rhyme".

Sabrina also sings in the pre-chorus, "And I'm not asking you to let it go / But you been tellin' your side / So I'll be telling mine".

Fans became convinced of this when he started posting TikTok videos with fellow artist Sabrina Carpenter.

All these lyrics seem to be pointing straight away at Olivia and her song.
