Billie Eilish Opens Up About the Internet Hating Her Body

"I don't know what things cost because I've never been an adult before", the 19-year old Grammy winning artist explained.

Now, on the cover of Vanity Fair's March 2021 issue, Eilish is further addressing that moment and the concern that it caused for her family.

Eilish is known for her neon green hair and for wearing oversized clothes.

Ahead of the release of the The World's A Little Blurry documentary, out next month on Apple TV+, Billie Eilish gave Vanity Fair an expansive interview touching on everything from the global critical and commercial success of her debut album to what's ahead with impending new music. To be completely honest with you, I only started wearing loose clothes because of my body. I was really, really glad though, mainly, that I'm in this place in my life, because if that had happened three years ago, when I was in the midst of my frightful body relationship - or dancing a ton, five years ago, I wasn't really eating.

According to WSPA, an autopsy was performed that revealed the 3-year-old died due to multiple blunt force injuries. On Jan. 19, Ariel , age 29, and Jerry , age 34, were charged with "homicide by child abuse" (via Insider ).

"When I heard that song, I just sobbed because I've been doing this for so long and it's like, 'damn, that's so true, '" she spoke about Billie's song Everything I Wanted and how she felt connected to it.

Eilish also recalled taking "a pill" in the hopes that it would help her to lose weight.

"[The album] feels exactly how I want it to", she said. "So that's great. The internet hates women".

Elsewhere in the interview, the topic of fan interactions is broached, with a brief mention from the author of how fans who paid for (pre-pandemic) meet-and-greet experiences were briefed by Eilish's team on how best to behave when meeting one of their idols. The internet hates women'.

Eilish also revealed that she is feeling confident about her upcoming second album, which will feature her recent track "Therefore I Am". "And, you know, I grew up with no money". You make assumptions about people based on their size. "We decide what they're worth", Eilish says in the video.
