Priyanka Chopra takes a shot of tequila before her interview with Ellen.

She continued: "I'd like to share an interesting piece of information I came across recently and today seems to be the ideal day to post what I learned". I wasn't coordinated to do it.

She added to the March issue of Marie Claire magazine: "For that girl who was so scared, I'm proud of the person that I evolved into. It was too hard", she told the host.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has already wrapped up two Hollywood projects - The Matrix 4 and Text For You.

"He [Nick] was the one who was trying to teach me and then he gave up as I gave up", she said. "We're in Tier 5, so everything is shut except filming and essential services, but I'm happy because my mom's here and my dog is here, so I don't feel that alone". So inspiring and also an apt day to celebrate the effort of all those who helped build the fundamental principles of India.

Ahead of the release of her memoir "Unfinished", Chopra Jonas has been sharing various aspects of her life in the memoir. Some of her top picks include Aravind Adiga's Amnesty (Adiga is also the author of the book Chopra Jonas's upcoming film, The White Tiger, is based on), and Yaa Gyasi's Homegoing. The book follows the journey of Priyanka's childhood, facing racism during her teenage years in the United States, winning Miss India and Miss World, and the challenges she faced while piloting a career in Bollywood and Hollywood. The film is an adaptation of Aravind Adiga's Man Booker-winning novel of the same name.

'It's a reflection of where we are today, ' Priyanka said. But in this interview, she also shared the course correction she is working on: launching her own sustainable beauty brand, Anomaly.

She went on: "you can't eat on the couch, which I kinda love doing, so I've learned that sometimes we've gotta pivot towards each other".

'He's very formal that way, ' Priyanka said.
