Time to Walk launches with four audio experiences, with many more expected to arrive in the coming weeks and months.

"Taking a walk is a great way to clear your mind", Mendes says.

"If you ask somebody to tell you a life story, they will nearly always involve challenges and, because we all face those, it's wonderful to hear about other people's challenges and how they've dealt with them". They feature a wide range of celebrities including the universally adored Dolly Parton, Golden State Warriors' star Draymond Green, Golden Globe-winning actress Uzo Aduba and beloved Canadian musician Shawn Mendes. They will then select from one of a variety of audio stories to listen to during their walk. They share the lessons they've learned, their meaningful memories, and their thoughts on objective and gratitude.

During the stories, photos will appear on your Apple Watch face to accompany the subject matter.

As reported by Mashable, the company's release note said that Time to Walk is "an audio experience in the Workout app where guests share inspiring stories as you walk". The stories are sometimes humorous and other times inspirational.

Parton reiterates that idea in her walk: "You think good when you walk", she says. We hope Time to Walk can bring a little inspiration, some companionship and perhaps a laugh all while enjoying the benefits of one of the healthiest activities.

Four episodes are available at launch with one new episode appearing every Monday through the end of April. Also, as soon as you start playing a Time to Walk story, your Watch will begin a walking workout.

A cloud icon or progress indicator in the bottom left corner indicates if the episode has yet to be downloaded to your Apple Watch or is in the process of being transferred, and an "On Watch" section at the bottom of the list will collect those workouts that are available for offline listening. For wheelchair users, Time to Walk becomes Time to Push.

Time to Walk works with the Apple Watch and a pair of Bluetooth headphones, such as AirPods. It can be found if you open the Apple Watch app, scroll down to Workout, and make sure "Add Newest Workouts to Watch" is enabled.

The feature hasn't been officially announced, that MacRumors noticed a mention of it in the release notes for the latest watchOS 7.3 beta, and Twitter user Othmane noticed it in a new Apple Fitness+ promo video (the video has since been replaced with a version that does not mention the new feature).
