FKA Twigs: Abusive Shia LaBeouf Gave Me PTSD

The pair met on the set of the movie "Honey Boy" in 2018 and split in May 2019. After begging him to let her go, twigs says they pulled over to a gas station where LaBeouf threw her against the vehicle and assaulted her in public.

She explained, "I'm not trying to deny my history, I 'ust think it's important that I'm not defined by it, because he doesn't have to be defined by it".

She continued: "I remember going back to where I was staying and calling an abused women's helpline, and her reaction to me was so serious".

"Being nice to a waiter, or being polite to someone, that could be seen as flirting or a desire to engage in some kind of relationship with someone else, when I'm just ordering pasta ... So that was my reality for a good four months towards the end of the relationship, that I wasn't allowed to look men in the eye".

One of LaBeouf's previous ex-girlfriends, the stylist Karolyn Pho, also described their relationship as violent and abusive to the New York Times During one incident, which is outlined in the lawsuit, she alleges that he pinned her to their bed and headbutted her.

During their relationship, FKA Twigs and Pattinson attended the Met Gala twice together (in 2015 and 2016) and other red carpet events. It was like touches or looks or kisses... "You know, I just called the first one that came up".

"So, I was able to do everything from my phone and I had a really brilliant time".

She stopped talking to family and friends.

She told Theroux there was "an intense honeymoon period at the beginning" before LaBeouf's behavior became abusive.

"All I can do is just think about myself when I'm 50 years old (and) I've got kids", she expressed, "I think about what I want to have stood for". This is something that was completely unexpected. "And I dealt with it'".

The 33-year-old songstress, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett took to Instagram to tease that she'll be releasing new music this week.

"I am doing this for something much bigger". And I am there now, just. I am definitely healed to a point where I can put my experience into something positive to try and help other people.
