UAE adopts amendments to allow citizenship to investors

Acquiring the citizenship will be done through nominations from Rulers and Crown Princes Courts, Executive Councils, and the Cabinet based on nominations from federal entities, it said.

The law detailed the terms and conditions upon which the citizenship can be granted.

As per the amendments, the citizenship can be withdrawn upon breach of the conditions. It is also mandatory to obtain a recommendation letter from recognised scientific institutions in the UAE.
