Moto G Pro becomes 1st Motorola to receive Android 11

The speed of the arrival of Android 11 to an intermediate smartphone is explained by the fact that it is part of the Android One program, which has, among other premises, to speed up the updating of partner devices.

Motorola's user interface is one of the closest to Android Pure, but for some reason, the manufacturer is the least updated and takes the longest time for Android. We have no idea if Motorola plans to roll-out another Android update for the One Macro, but theoretically, this should be the last major OS update that this smartphone is getting. It is 1.1GB in size. Things like the new Conversations, Bubbles and Media and Device controls, One-time permissions and a built-in Screen recorder, to name just a few. Although it's not surprising to see a two-year-old getting a major Android OS update, it's weird that Motorola didn't upgrade this one directly to Android 11, as it should.

The Motorola Moto G Pro is not yet available in Brazilian stores. It notes that January 2021 security patches are part of the payload.

As reported by Piunikaweb, a post on XDA Forums by a senior member named ice711 shows a glimpse of Android 11 on the settings menu of Moto G Power.

There is no detailed changelog as of yet, but users can certainly expect all of the new features that come core with Android 11.

Motorola hasn't exactly been leading the pack on timely update delivery lately. Android 11 definitely brings out the G power's potential. We suggest you to keep your phone charged to above 75% before downloading the update for Moto G Pro.
