He called the accusations a "horrible distortion of reality" in his Instagram post.

While remaining silent most of yesterday, Marilyn Manson has spoken out to deny the allegations after his label dropped him.

The axing comes after Evan Rachel Wood publicly accused the long in the tooth shock rocker of "horrifically" abusing and "grooming" her when the Westworld actress was still a teenager.

"Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have chose to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season", network officials at Starz told Deadline. After Wood's posting, at least four other women have come forward with additional allegations of abuse.

The star went on to say she was revealing the identity of the musician because she is "done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail", and noted, "I am here to expose this risky man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives".

McGowan, who has become a leading figure in the #MeToo movement in recent years, weighed in on the developing story via her Instagram.

AMC, the channel that broadcasts the Creepshow anthology, also through a channel representative, announced to the same website that an episode starring Manson was being produced.

Mariah Carey Sued by Sister Over 'Public Humiliation' in Singer's Autobiography
Now, she wants $1.25 million from Mariah for being responsible for her "despicable and totally unnecessary public humiliation". Along with that, Alison Carey alleges that their mother made her engage in sexual activity and satanic rituals at a young age.

On Tuesday, Manson addressed the allegations on Instagram, describing the accusations as "horrible distortions of reality". However, the segment was replaced and the singer was removed from the project. The Starz network has confirmed Manson will no longer appear in the series. Postponed a week because of the Super Bowl, American Gods doesn't return until February 14.

Update: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Manson has also now been dropped by CAA, the agency representing the musician. No final decision has been made yet. In 2018, Evan Rachel Wood had stated that she was raped during hearings that took place in the United States Congress (USA), without, however, revealing the identity of the aggressor. However, until today, she had never identified her abuser.

In 2007, Manson left his wife, Dita Von Teese, to pursue a romantic relationship with Wood.

Bailey recounts visiting Manson's home for a photoshoot with him and actress Paz de la Huerta in 2011, where she said it seemed like de la Huerta was drugged up and eventually Manson pulled a gun on her.

The singer released three albums with the label since 2015 including last year's We Are Chaos. "I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and these fearless women", bluntly tweeted the acclaimed actress who portrays Bilquis, a goddess of love on the series.

"The comments on Spin where Manson had a fantasy of using a mallet against Evan and cut himself 158 times was obviously a theatrical interview from a rock star promoting a new record, and not a factual account. The fact that Evan and Manson got engaged six months after this interview would indicate that no one took this story literally".
