EPL: Lingard helps West Ham beat Aston Villa 3-1

Lingard scored twice in the Hammers' 3-1 triumph at Villa Park, with Tomas Soucek also finding the net for the visitors, and the winger revealed after the game that he already feels comfortable in Moyes' starting XI. I think he's their top scorer this season with seven goals from midfield, I think he's one who covers the most distance as well.

Jesse Lingard is pleased to have struck up an instant rapport with his new team-mates at West Ham as he marked his debut for the club with two goals to take down Aston Villa on Wednesday.

"We worked hard as a collective to get the result and we're just focused on the next game, which is Fulham on Saturday".

His second of the night snuffed out hopes of a Villa comeback after Ollie Watkins had scored for the third time in four matches to halve the deficit.
