A former aide to Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday alleged that the NY governor asked her to play strip poker on a private jet in 2017 and a year later kissed her without permission.

His reputation, which had been enhanced by his handling of the Covid-19 epidemic, took a severe dent when his administration was accused by his attorney general of undercounting the number of people who had died in state nursing homes by almost 4000. On Wednesday, she published an account of the alleged harassment online.

Cuomo's office said the allegations from Boylan are untrue.

"I expect the Governor and his top aides will attempt to further disparage me, just as they've done with Assemblymember [Ron] Kim".

"Gov. Cuomo has earned his title as Worst Governor in America, and now every New Yorker knows that he is a criminal sexual predator", Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., wrote in a statement Wednesday. As I got up to leave and walk toward an open door, he stepped in front of me and kissed me on the lips.

"I'm kind of shocked that it hasn't gotten more attention from people that would normally be at least sharing the story", Krakauer said. "The idea that someone might think I held my high-ranking position because of the Governor's "crush" on me was more demeaning than the kiss itself".

Boylan, a former deputy secretary for economic development and special advisor to the governor, tweeted in December that Cuomo sexually harassed her, but she didn't reveal details and declined interview requests.

Mr. Cuomo's office said at the time that there was "no truth" to Ms.

"Today I am telling my story".

The Boylan allegations come after multiple Democratic lawmakers and journalists have reported being intimidated or threatened by the Cuomo administration. Both Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said the charges were serious and harassment should not be tolerated.

Guns and ammunition are sold in the front of the outlet that faces a main thoroughfare through Jefferson Parish. Lopinto said that the investigation was continuing as authorities sought to determine exactly what occurred.

In one of the many government emails between Governor Andrew Cuomo and his staff, he reportedly calls Lindsey Boylan "Lisa". "It was an uncomfortable but all-too-familiar feeling: the struggle to be taken seriously by a powerful man who tied my worth to my body and my appearance".

She made a decision to elaborate, she wrote, because she hoped it would empower other women to come forward. However, he reportedly wrote in the email: "You could be sisters. Except you're the better looking sister".

Last week, Assemblymember Ron Kim spoke out publicly about the intimidation and abuse he has faced from Governor Cuomo and his aides.

In one portion, she wrote, "I had complained to friends that the governor would go out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms, and legs".

Boylan recounted a flight she shared with the governor from an event in October 2017 in which Cuomo allegedly said, "Let's play strip poker". She said she brushed it off with a joke, sarcastically saying, "That's exactly what I was thinking", but privately found the comment upsetting.

"His inappropriate behaviour toward women was an affirmation that he liked you, that you must be doing something right", Ms. Boylan said. Boylan also alleges Cumo's top female staffers "normalized" his behavior and that governor regularly sought her out.

Andrew Cuomo, who confronted intense scrutiny Wednesday after a former aide accused him of sexual harassment, referred to as for then-Supreme Court docket nominee Brett Kavanaugh to undergo a lie-detector check amid allegations of sexual assault in 2018.

"Apparently if you are Governor Cuomo and your brothers the hosts a big CNN show, and you're a Democrat, then there is a completely double standard", she continued.

"I support that", he said at the time.

In her post, she offered a different reason for her departure, saying her relationship with Mr. Cuomo's "senior team - mostly women - grew hostile after I started speaking up for myself".
