Late on Saturday, the US Senate voted 50 to 49 to pass the US President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion pandemic relief bill in an entirely party-line consent with no Republicans voting in favour of what would be one of the largest stimulus packages in modern United States' history. The president said he will sign the measure "as soon as I can get it", adding checks will be going "out the door starting this month."

Are you eligible for the third stimulus check? US residents who have a valid social security number are eligible to get the stimulus checks. If we continue to see obstruction from our Republican colleagues as we saw through this Covid relief package, I think the patience is going to wear thin, even on moderate Democrats, ' Padilla said.

The legislation will now go back to the House for a final vote and then Joe Biden will sign in into law. The management of Partners Group Private Equity Master Fund has a positive outlook for PE in 2021.

Smaller checks will go to individuals making up to $80,000; heads of household earning up to $120,000, and couples, $160,000.

The Senate made no changes to the amount of the stimulus checks, and thus, the payment would be up to $1,400 per person, including dependents.

Individuals with an adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less are eligible for the full $1,400. A couple with two children could receive up to $5,600.

Charlotte Bennett, Cuomo accuser, says 'lonely' governor propositioned her
Bennett said she felt ashamed when thinking about coming forward with her claims. "It's not an issue of my feelings. Cuomo also announced that residential gatherings of up to 25 people can be held outdoors beginning on March 22.

The credit is worth $2,000 per child under 17 that can be claimed as a dependent.

The updates to the tax credit allow it to be advanced to parents in monthly payments of $250 to $300, as opposed to once annually through their tax returns. People in jails, and those with non-citizen spouses as well as the kin of those who died in 2020 will also be able to get the payments. If someone saw their income increase from 2019 to 2020 and already filed their taxes for the year, that information would now be in the IRS' hands. If you don't, you'll get a paper check in about two weeks. This is because the checks will phase out faster this time. But their spouses and children are eligible as long as they have Social Security numbers. The first $10,200 of unemployment benefits would be exempt from taxes for the first time to prevent surprise bills for unemployed people at end of the year.

Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was less celebratory, saying that the Senate had never spent so much money in "a more haphazard way". On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki reiterated the same thing.

"If they're going to add almost $2T to the national debt at least we should know what's in the bill", Johnson said on Twitter, calling it a Democratic wish list after listening to the reading.

Now, March appears the most likely timeline as well.

The House bill had set the supplemental benefit at $520 a week, but Senate Democrats finally agreed to knock that down to $390.
