Marjorie Taylor Greene Denies ‘Screaming’ at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Witnesses said Greene shouted "Hey Alexandria" twice, but Ocasio-Cortez did not stop as Greene accused her of supporting antifa and Black Lives Matter, falsely calling them "terrorists". "Why do you support terrorists and antifa?"

She has since distanced herself from some of her remarks. Greene went on to criticize the Democrat, stating she uses her social media platform to spread anti-American rhetoric and defend terrorists.

"When Hogg, a gun control activist and Parkland school shooting survivor, caught wind of this altercation, he shared his opinion on the Representative, who publicly harassed the now 21-year-old in the past, calling him a "coward" and "#littleHitler".

Continuing to speak through the mail slot of Ocasio-Cortez's office, Greene says she is appalled at New York's abortion law and tells the congresswoman she is "bringing god's judgment on our country".

"I was talking to AOC, saying you need to debate me about the Green New Deal", stated the Republican. They need to defend their legislation to the people. "And it is a cause of trauma and fear among members". And harassing a colleague like this isn't politics, it's theatre, and it certainly does nothing to help her constituents or further actual debate.

"Representative Greene tried to begin an argument with Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and when Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tried to walk away, Congresswoman Greene began screaming and called Rep. Ocasio-Cortez a terrorist sympathizer", the spokeswoman said in a statement to the Post.

"We hope leadership and the Sergeant at Arms will take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all members and staff - especially as many offices are discussing reopening". Insane eyes. crazy eyes. "I'm moving my office away from hers for my team's safety", she wrote on Twitter.

At least 11 dead, including children, in Russian school shooting
Local officials noted that some of the children were evacuated from the school, while others still remained in the building. Children are among 11 victims killed in a shooting at a school in Kazan, according to Russian state media reports.

She repeatedly refers to the Democrat's office as a "day care" and jeers at the colorful sticky notes with messages of support that people leave outside Ocasio-Cortez's office.

In February, she mocked Democratic Rep. Marie Newman after Newman, who has a transgender daughter, hung a transgender pride flag next to her door. Greene responded by hanging a sign in the hallway reading "There are two genders: male and female".

She has also expressed support for the radical ideology of QAnon, a sprawling set of false claims that have coalesced into an extremist ideology that has radicalized its followers, some of whom participated in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The Post reported that Ocasio-Cortez did say something to Greene at one point, though the reporters could not hear her words.

In February, in light of her controversial comments, the House of Representatives voted 230 to 199 to strip Greene of all her committee assignments - with some Republicans joining the Democratic majority.

Greene, who was elected in the 2020 elections, can be seen in the video accompanied by several other conservative activists (at least one of whom, Anthony Aguero, was spotted entering the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 insurrection) as they taunt Ocasio-Cortez's office staff through the mailbox slot in the locked door.
